Co-Produced by Jonathan Sheldrick of Fatty Acid fame, Preston's latest release possesses a cinematic acoustic pop vibe with traces of alt rock, country and soul. Dramatically catchy choruses, earthy guitars, vibrant strings and soaring vocals blend to create one of the most dynamic albums of 2009.
The album scheduled for release July 17th, is waiting on the completion of the CD-Baby site re-launch. CD-Baby has been a great partner since the beginning and we've simply got to wait until their site is humming again. Once it does, the album will be up instantly.
We'd like to thank those who have checked in from time to time to see the album release date pushed back again and again. No one is more frustrated with the various logistical hang-ups that have cropped up over the last few months than us. Welcome to the world of Independent Music! However, having given the master copy of the album a few listens, myself and the staff can guarantee to you that Taste The Rain will be worth the wait.
