These days Jeff is more about business than performing. With an MBA in Marketing from Fordham University he consults on marketing and business development initiatives at startups and Fortune 500 companies. When he's not writing RFP's, optimizing business processes, writing commercial scripts and performing voiceover he "kicks back" by writing music for commercials and indie features. This broad background is part of what makes his story so unique. Jeff's love of music began at 8 years old when he heard The Who's "Baba O'Reilly" and it continued into his teens as his high school jazz ensemble enabled him to play drums in sessions with legendary jazz trumpeters Clark Terry and Bobby Shew- BIG thanks to Mr. Kenneth Pollit for that! He then learned guitar and a little piano while attending Fairfield University and that's where the songwriting began. While serving 7 years as a Final Cut Pro Editor and Project Manager at Showtime Networks, Jeff toured nationally with indie quintet JEL and as a solo singer songwriter headlining The Sundance Film Festival, North By Northwest, The Hard Rock Las Vegas, The Viper Room and dozens of other top venues across the US. He has performed in over 500 live music events as both a lead singer and drummer. Jeff's musical past includes several studio albums with Billboard Magazine Award winner JEL, musical contributions to Emmy Award winning director Christopher Ward's "Person Of Interest" (2009 & 2010 Connecticut Film Festival Featured Selection) and "Fog Warning" (2009 Connecticut Film Festival Featured Selection) and Maya Batash's award winning debut feature "Out Of The Fog" (2009 & 2010 Winner at Heart Of England, Ireland International, Yosemite, Honolulu, LA Reel, and Thailand International Film Festivals). Jeff also composed music for ESPN'S "E60:Corrective Rape" which garnered a United Nations Gold Medal. He is also the primary composer for director Rycke Foreman's "Slash" currently in pre-production. On the songwriting side, JEL's Tony Germinario and Rich Simoniello contribute to Jeff's recent release "Taste The Rain" along with guitarist Jonathan Sheldrick (Fatty Acid), vocalist Ali Rull, pianist Kenny Shanker and cellist Jeremy Lamb.
